Suddenly confusion takes over and communication is lost. The video link is re-established and it becomes apparent that the shuttle was hit by space debris and has been severely damaged.

The mission controller addresses the audience, and asks for help. The audience is split into teams. As each problem becomes apparent these teams are dispatched to comes up with workable solutions. E.g. Fitting a square air filter from a space suit into the round hole of the space shuttle.
